Ben Grace (they/them)
Australian singer-songwriter Ben Grace used to front a Pop Punk band. Their hair (and music) might be a little less emo, but their charm and incredible gift for earworm melody play on. Ben’s three-decade musical portfolio includes solo shows at New York’s legendary Rockwood Music Hall and Bowery Ballroom, stages shared with Joe Hertler, Jukebox the Ghost, The Lone Bellow’s Brian Elmquist and Zach Williams, international tours, and hundreds of successful original songs, including their most recent work as Story & Tune Jr. for NBC Peacock.
Karyn Thurston (she/her)
Poet and lyricist Karyn Thurston began her public career in words with an essay, 10 True Things About the First Year of Parenthood, which swept the globe in a viral wave of reassurance and parent-to-parent support. In the years that have followed, she’s partnered with up-and-coming musicians and songwriting legends (Larry Bastian, Flamy Grant, Jeff Berkley, Lisa Sanders) alike. During the day, Karyn writes for SmallGood, helping social justice-oriented organizations (like Midwest Innocence Project, Children’s Advocacy Center, and the soon-to-launch Beta Bank) find the right words to tell their stories. She also works with one-on-one with other artists to define their voice and brand strategy. On stage as story to Ben’s tune, Karyn is part comedian, part heartwarming hope-holder, and a full 6’ of relentless enthusiasm.

It starts with a story.
We’ll start with an interview, where we’ll ask you (via email, with plenty of time to consider your responses) to tell us the story you’d like us to set to music. From there…
We write your song.
We take the story you’ve told us and transform it into a song, blending our guidance with your requests for style, genre, and content. You witness the process along the way, watching your song grow from idea to reality through text, video, and audio recordings.
You celebrate and share.
When we’re finished, you’re left with a radio-ready, professionally produced song to dance to at your wedding, to give as a gift to your loved one, to share with the world as you reveal a piece of your life for the first time, or simply to listen to on repeat to make sure a memory is never forgotten.
